2017 Total Solar Eclipse

I was blessed with the privilege of being able to witness a total solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st is Tecumseh, Nebraska.  I’m not sure that anyone could witness such an event and walk away untouched on some level.  What an incredible experience it was to witness the earth, moon and sun in complete alignment.  There are no words to adequately describe it, so I won’t even try.  There are no photographs that can capture the complete sense of awe and wonderment that overcomes you (mind, body and spirit) by experiencing it first-hand.What I can tell you is this – Driving 1,100 miles over a period of 40 hours through pouring rain, road construction, detours, oceans of traffic, and then having to return to work the next day going on less than three hours of sleep – It was worth it; and I’d do it again any day of the week and twice on Sunday!
