Look Up
I took this photo yesterday at 7:20 AM from my deck. I remember the exact time because it made me late for work. The moon hadn’t set yet and it was completely light outside, so I was just barely able to make it out in the sky. It was really cloudy, and at first glance I thought it was a cloud. As I looked closer, I realized that it was actually the moon. I thought it looked absolutely amazing, so I quickly grabbed my camera and managed to get a few shots of it before it disappeared behind the clouds. I’m so glad that I took the time to look up. Had I not, I would have missed it.
In the words of Ferris Bueller: “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
