Look Up

I took this photo yesterday at 7:20 AM from my deck. I remember the exact time because it made me late for work.  The moon hadn’t set yet and it was completely light out, so you could just barely make it out in the sky.  It was really cloudy, and at first glance I thought it was a cloud.  But as I looked closer, I realized that it was the moon.  I thought it looked really amazing, so I quickly grabbed my camera and managed to get a few quick shots of it before it disappeared behind the clouds.  I’m so glad that I took the time to look up.  Had I not, I would have missed it.

In the words of Ferris Bueller: “Life moves pretty fast.  If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
